Designed to give an existing, such as a family member, a break from their workload, our Dementia Care Companions will support you to the exact same standard of care that you’re accustomed to, and are available on a short or long-term basis.
Dementia is a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury and marked by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning. It is caused by physical changes in the brain as one grows older. Dementia ranges in severity from the mildest stage, when it is just beginning to affect a person’s functioning, to the most severe stage, when the person must depend completely on others for basic activities of living.
Because of the demand in care for clients with Dementia, we offer a wide range of support for those with the illness and for those who have family members with dementia.
Hourly Visiting Care
We can check on you every hour to make sure you are alright.
Extended Hours of Live-In Care
If necessary, our Care Companions can live with you to ensure you receive the attention and support that you need.
Night Care
Our Care Companions are able to stay in your home overnight to ensure you sleep freely.
Respite Care
If a family member of a friend currently cares for you, our Care Companions can step in to take the pressure off them and still ensure you get a personalised care service.
